Margent Farm Spring 2024 Open Day
Book a morning at Margent Hemp Farm in Cambridgeshire.
A tour around the fields that will have just been seeded. A look to see how the winter wheat has come back (strong we hope!). The tour will also take-in the stunning hemp farmhouse that was built using the crop grown in Margent's 50 acres of fields. It will include the Polyvalent Studio that was designed and built by architecture students from the London Metropolitan University and a tactile look at the hemp materials and their potential. We will show a short film on the process of our farmhouse construction materials.

Student Day
Margent would like to welcome students and educators to the farm. Witness the hemp seedlings emerging from our organic, regenerative soil and learn about material progression from non-woven matt to thermal compression composite. Step into the award winning polyvalent studio built by students from the London Metropolitan University, Architecture Department to see firsthand how the materials have been applied onsite.

Radical Acts: Why Craft Matters. Harewood Biennial 2022
An exhibition curated by Hugo MacDonald, the second Biennial features a Sitooterie designed and constructed by Jones Neville Studio from Margent Farm hemp fibre panels.
The Sitooterie sits within the walled garden of Harewood House where head gardener Trevor Nicholson has a no-dig growing patch, supplemented with hemp materials.
